Browse all your categories in a beautiful dedicated page at the end of your Launchpad. Each category displays a 3×3 preview grid showing up to 9 apps from that category, giving you a visual overview at a glance.
Open a category and press Enter to launch all apps in that category at once. Perfect for starting your workday, launching development tools, or opening your creative suite with a single key press.

Master Launchpad with these handy shortcuts and workflow tips
Having trouble opening Launchpad? Here's how to fix the "cannot verify developer" warning.
"Launchpad cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified"
Click the Apple menu () in the top-left corner and select System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS versions).
In System Settings, click on Privacy & Security in the sidebar.
Scroll down to the Security section. You'll see a message about Launchpad being blocked. Click "Open Anyway" and confirm with your password.
macOS Gatekeeper protects your Mac by checking if apps are from identified developers. Since Launchpad is not distributed through the Mac App Store, you need to explicitly allow it to run. This is a one-time process.
